The Wendigo (ウェンディゴ, Wendigo?) is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in Final Fantasy VIII. Though its appearance varies, it is typically as a sometimes headless giant or undead.

Final Fantasy VIII
The Wendigo appears as an enemy encountered in the forests around Timber, many areas in Galbadia, and in the Stairway Hall and Passageway of the final dungeon. It uses physical attacks, meaning they can be defeated easily using Blind. It can be obtained as a level 4 Triple Triad card with 7/6/3/1 values.
Final Fantasy X
The Wendigo appears as a boss encountered in Lake Macalania when escaping Macalania Temple, fought alongside two Guado Guardians. It deals mostly physical damage and is in Berserk status from the beginning of the battle. After dropping to below 9,000 HP, it will raise its arms and then counter any attack.
Final Fantasy XI
The Wendigo appears as a member of the Skeleton enemy family encountered in the Maze of Shakhrami, Inner Horutoto Ruins, Gusgen Mines, and Carpenters' Landing. It can have either the Warrior or Black Mage jobs.
Final Fantasy XII
The Wendigo appears an enemy encountered in the Sochen Cave Palace, which attacks with physical damage and several -ra magick abilities.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII
The appears as an enemy encountered in the Luxerion Cathedral during the Final Day. It does not have its own Last One, instead becoming the Sugriva Ω when 30 Wendigos, Neelas, or Sugrivas have been defeated.
Final Fantasy XIV
The Wendigo appeared in the original release as a wight encountered in Central Thanalan. It has not reappeared since A Realm Reborn.
