The Sea Snake (シースネイク, Shīsuneiku?), also known as the SeaSNAKE or Sea Serpent, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in the original Final Fantasy. True to its name, it is a snake encountered in aquatic environments, and like its brethren can often inflict poison with its attacks.

The Sea Snake appears as a Mirage encountered as an enemy in the Low Seas, Sunken Temple, EX Dungeon A, EX Dungeon C, EX Dungeon Z, and Hidden Dungeon. It can be imprismed using a Sea Snake Prism after hitting it with a water-elemental attack, and can be transfigured with the Sea Serpent and Leviathan.
