The Pyrolisk (ピロリスク, Pirorisuku?), also known as the PERILISK, is a recurring creature in the Final Fantasy series, first appearing in the original Final Fantasy.

The Pyrolisk, also known as the PERILISK, appears as an enemy encountered in Mount Gulg, Mirage Tower, and the Waterfall Cavern. It appears in large groups alongside the Cockatrice, Mummy, and King Mummy, and can be dangerous owing to its KO-inflicting Gaze.
Final Fantasy II
The Pyrolisk appears an enemy exclusive to the Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary releases. It is encountered in the Unknown Cave. It is a highly dangerous foe as its regular attacks inflict instant death, and has access to the Gaze VIII ability. It also tends to attack in large packs.
Final Fantasy XII

The Pyrolisk appears as an enemy encountered on the Phon Coast. It is a flying enemy and battles using regular attacks and suiciding with Kamikaze. When poached, there is a very rare chance of obtaining the Murasame.
Final Fantasy XVI
The Pyrolisk appears as an enemy in the Angry Gap and Great Southern Gate regions of Waloed.

The Pyrolisk appears as in Mt. Gulg. It battles using Glare and Beak.

The Pyrolisk is a rare subspecies of Cockatrice in Dungeons and Dragons. Any who meet its gaze burst into flame.
