Guard Hound — finalfantasy

The Guard Hounds (ガードハウンド, Gādo Haundo?) are a recurring enemy type from the Final Fantasy VII series. They appear to be canines with an almost feline body-shape and a long tentacle from the base of the neck. In other entries of the Compilation, the Guard Hounds are given droopy cheeks and gain a Great Dane-like appearance.

Guard Hound, Guard Dog in the remake, appear in Sector 1 as one of the first enemies in the game. There is also Dark Nation, Dark Star in the remake, Rufus Shinra’s pet who assists him during his boss battle.
