The Horned Devil, also known as the R.GOYLE or RED GARGOYLE, is an enemy encountered in Mount Gulg and the Citadel of Trials. It can be a nuisance, as it always attacks in groups and is capable of hitting multiple times a round and casting a variety of magic. They can be particularly dangerous in the NES release as they will always cast Fira as their first spell, damaging the entire party.
