Ser Titouan is a non-playable character in Final Fantasy XIV. He appeared during the seasonal event Valentione's Day in 2025.

History

When the Valentione's Day celebration began distributing Driancoin—a rare rose cultivated by House Haillenarte and long believed to be extinct—Ser Titouan traveled to Gridania as a representative of the high house. There, he sought out the botanist responsible for cultivating the flowers, Laurovic. Upon meeting him, Laurovic explained that he had received the seeds from an Ishgardian botanist named Sylginie, with whom he had fallen in love. However, she had departed without explanation. Ser Titouan revealed that Sylginie had once served as House Haillenarte's gardener, but when the Calamity brought severe cold to the region and the flowers withered, she fled in shame, believing she had failed in her duties.

Determined to draw Sylginie out, Ser Titouan and Laurovic joined forces and began spreading rumors. The stratagem successfully drew Sylginie out, and she soon arrived, concerned for Laurovic's well-being. Laurovic apologized for the deception and asked why she had entrusted him with the Driancoin seeds before disappearing. Sylginie explained that she had only wished to preserve the roses, but having failed her house and broken its rules, she felt unworthy of happiness. Laurovic vehemently disagreed. Kneeling before her, he offered a bouquet and pleaded with her to remain and cultivate roses with him. Ser Titouan assured Sylginie that she would not face punishment; although she had broken House rules, her intentions had been noble, and she had saved the Driancoin from extinction. After a moment of silence, Sylginie finally allowed herself to smile and accepted Laurovic's sincere proposal. Laurovic thanked the Warrior of Light and Ser Titouan for helping him reunite with her.^[1]
