Soul Blade is an ability for Zidane, learned for 35 AP from The Ogre. At the cost of 6 MP, it inflicts the status of any thief sword Zidane has currently equipped at a 99% accuracy to one enemy. If used with a dagger-type weapon, it will miss.

Soul Blade is the Premium Skill for Zidane (No.374). It applies a weakening state to one enemy with the weakening effect depending on the attributes of the weapons in the party for 2 turns. It has a slow charge speed and is usable during Force Memento.

The ability's name refers to Japanese swords and warriors being associated with Shinto, a religious belief system where all elements of the world are embedded with spirits.
