Stone Throw (投石, Tōseki?), also known as Stone, Rock Toss, or Throw Stone, is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series.

Appearances

Final Fantasy VII

Rock Toss is an enemy ability used by Mu and Trickplay, being their basic attack. It inflicts non-elemental physical damage to one target.

Final Fantasy XI

Stone Throw is an enemy ability used by the Opo-opo genus of enemies. When used, the enemy will throw a rock at a single target and may cause paralysis.

Throw Stone, also known as Stone, is a Fundaments ability learned by the squire job for 90 JP. The user lobs a small stone at a single enemy, dealing low physical damage and having a chance of knocking them backwards one tile. It is learned for 90 JP by the Squire job.

Stone Throw is a N and N+ ability. It is also one of Ramza's signature abilities used by the summon stone, Ramza I. When summoning Ramza I, Ramza greatly damages enemies with Stone Throw.

Stone Throw is an ability learned by Alma, Mercenary Ramza, and Unsung Hero Ramza by default, as well as Argus, and can be obtained as a Materia by completing the Final Fantasy Tactics event, "Orbonne Monastery Vaults". It deals 1 hit of 15,000 fixed damage to one enemy at no MP cost (30 MP for Mercenary Ramza. It can be upgraded to +2 by Mercenary Ramza, and when fully upgraded, deals 17,500 damage to all enemies, increases chances of being targeted by 100% for 3 turns, and reduces damage taken by 40% for 3 turns.
