Boost Jump (ブーストジャンプ, Būsuto Janpu?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It originally appeared as the initial Limit for Cid Highwind.

Boost Jump is Cid's initial Limit, which deals non-elemental damage to one target equal to 314 times normal damage. Using Boost Jump 7 times will unlock Dynamite.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis

The initial limit break of Cid Highwind, Boost Jump, deals moderate to heavy damage to a single enemy and inflicts stop to target.

Final Fantasy Dimensions

Attacks from the air to deal heavy damage. Cannot be attacked while jumping.

Description

Boost Jump is a Fusion Ability that deals large amount of damage by jumping down from the air. It is exclusive to the Warriors of Light and costs 10 MP to use. Boost Jump requires the character to have Warrior's Enrage and Dragoon's Jump learned.
