Solid Barrel (ソリッドバレル, Soriddo Bareru?) is a recurring ability in the Final Fantasy series. It is an ability used exclusively by Squall Leonhart.

Final Fantasy XIV

Solid Barrel is a Gunbreaker weaponskill learned at level 26. It deals damage to a single target with a potency of 100. When performed as a combo action from Brutal Shell, its potency increases to 320 and stores a Cartridge to the Powder Gauge.

After learning the traits Melee Mastery and Melee Mastery II, the potencies are increased to 140 and 240, and the combo potencies are increased to 360 and 460 respectively.

Dissidia Final Fantasy

Solid Barrel is a ground physical Bravery attack for Squall, learned at level 3. It requires 30 CP to equip (15 when mastered), 120 AP to master, has Melee Low priority, and can induce Chase. Squall slashes the opponent four times from close-range with four quick slashes, then stabs upwards while triggering the gunblade three times, sending the victim flying.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy

Solid Barrel is a Bravery attack for Squall, requiring 100 AP to master but is otherwise identical to its previous incarnation.

Solid Barrel is a Bravery attack for Squall. It consists of a 4-hit melee BRV attack. It gains an extra hit when BRV drops below 250% initial BRV.
