Light Axe (ライトアクス, Raitoakusu?), also known as the Axe of Light or Shining Axe, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. It is generally a low-ranked axe that provides little attack power.

The Light Axe is a mid-ranked axe that provides +28 Attack, 15 Accuracy, 29 Critical, and casts Diara when used as an item in battle. It can be equipped by the Warrior, Knight, and Ninja jobs, and only two can be obtained, both in the Sunken Shrine.
Final Fantasy III
While not appearing physically or having any statistics inside the data, there is a text string of Light Axe suggesting that at one point during development that this weapon was planned to appear in the 3D remake as an axe.
Final Fantasy XI
The Light Axe is a one-handed axe equippable at level 11 by Warriors, Dark Knights, Beastmasters, and Rangers. It has damage 14 and delay 260. It is obtained through the San d'Orian quest "The Pickpocket".
Final Fantasy XIV
The Axe of Light is a 
Marauder's Arm for 
Warriors. It is a potential drop from the Warrior of Light in seat of sacrifice extreme, or can be purchased in Eulmore using tokens acquired from the same duty.
