Flamescepter (もえる杖 or 燃える杖, Moeru Tsue?), also known as Fire Staff, is a recurring weapon in the Final Fantasy series. Despite its similar usage, it is not to be confused with the Flame Staff.

Final Fantasy III

Fire Staff is a low-ranked Staff that provides 15 Attack (20 Attack in later versions), 2 Mind, 2 Intellect, and casts Fire when used as an item during battle. It can be equipped by White Mage, Red Mage, Devout, and Sage, and can be obtained by finding it at Tozus and Gulgan Gulch or buying it for 3,500 gil at Village of the Ancients and Northeast Saronia. Despite being identical in terms of usage, the Fire Staff from the Famicom version is replaced with the similar Flame Staff in the 3D versions of the game, but returns in the Pixel Remaster.

Dissidia Final Fantasy (2008)

Flamescepter is a level 15 Staff that provides 15 Bravery, 12 Attack, and EX Mode Duration +10%. It can be obtained from the shop by trading in 3,700 gil, Staff, Amplification Shard, and four Transmogridusts.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy

Flamescepter returns as a level 1 Staff that provides 17 Bravery, 11 Attack, and EX Mode Duration +5%.

Final Fantasy Airborne Brigade

Flamescepter was a staff the player could obtain.
