I believe a great man once said "you should always give in to peer pressure". Well since I sit here bored I guess I should jump on this band wagon, though I can't decide how serious I want to be.
I tolerate a lot of things. Destroying my stuff isn't one of them.
Diablocon
Is there an interdimensional battle between all the wiki's users going on just now? Diablocon wouldn't notice. Sitting on the sidelines in his protective shell where he lives for who knows how long, Diablo has just been watching all the wild antics unfold before him, occasionally interjecting here and there. However, when a stray bolt of energy from one of the epic clashes destroyed Diablo's shell, he was less than pleased. Not caring for fighting, Diablo had to bite the bullet and tread into this weird world full of even stranger fighting in the hopes of finding the two people responsible for destroying his nice shell.
Reason for fighting
Diablo doesn't have any beef with most of the people here, and will just let them be if they just let him go his way. He is only interested in finding the two people who broke his safe hiding place.
However, he's found out that going up to everyone he meets and asking "Are you responsible for breaking my stuff?" will usually end up resulting in a fight, so he's come prepared.
Attacks
Style
Diablo doesn't know much about fighting, hence why his title is Keen Observer. Instead he likes to let his opponent do all the fighting while he observes, with most of his attacks requiring pattern observation and wits.
Brave Attacks
| Move | Type | Description |
| Vitality Gambit | Ground/Aerial | Conjure up a bolt of darkness to swiftly smack the opponent. Steals more brave points the lower Diablo's HP is. Can be chained into Careful Consideration if Diablo's HP is below 40%. |
| Guard Risk | Ground/Aerial | Bolt of darkness smashes through an opponent's guard to steal some brave points. If the opponent isn't guarding when the move connects, the move fails and Diablo loses some brave points instead. Can chain into Vitality Gambit if the move fails. |
| Offence Hazard | Ground/Aerial | Counters an opponent's HP attack, draining them of lots of brave points. Can only be used when Diablo is in Break mode. Can be chained into Vitality Gambit if Diablo's HP is below 40%. |
HP Attacks
| Move | Type | Description |
| Reckless Abandon | Ground/Aerial | An unblockable attack, Diablo rushes the opponent and smashes them with a fistful of darkness, reducing both combatants to 1 brave point afterwards. If the opponent is in Break mode, the move fails. |
| Careful Consideration | Ground | Diablo stops to think for a while, covering himself in a shield for six seconds. Attacking this shield causes the opponent to take damage equal to half of Diablo's brave points. Can be chained into Reckless Abandon if the opponent doesn't break the shield during the attack's whole duration. When Reckless Abandon is used this way, it will work on an opponent in Break mode and will not reduce Diablo to 1 brave point. |
EX Mode and EX Burst
Well I guess I could be a bit more involved.
Diablocon
Diablo’s EX Mode, Emperor's Ruse, turns him into a copy of Emperor Diala from the EoS story. In this mode he gains increased offence and defence at the expense of some speed. Offence Hazard can chain into Vitality Gambit if his HP is below 80% and Vitality Gambit can chain into Careful Consideration if his HP is below 90%. Careful Consideration now has a duration of 12 seconds, deals damage equal to Diablo's brave points and can chain into Reckless Abandon immediately. Reckless Abandon will now work on an opponent in Break mode and won't reduce Diablo to 1 brave point, even if he didn't chain into it from Careful Consideration.
His EX Burst is Darkness from Within, which summons a copy of Diabolos. Diabolos will constantly attack the opponent with shards of darkness, causing continuous damage. During this time, the player can tap the cross button to drain Diablo of his own HP, increasing the attack duration. Should Diablo be drained of 25% or more of his health, Diabolos will finish up the attack with Dark Messenger, causing massive damage.
