In-Game "Help" Description.

Bushido (奥義, Ougi?, lit. Secret Techniques) is a skillset associated with the Samurai dressphere in Final Fantasy X-2. Bushido abilities can be accessed outside of the Samurai dressphere by equipping the Bushido Lore accessory or the Samurai's Honor Garment Grid. Paine has access to Bushido abilities through the Mascot dressphere.

Shin-Zantetsu, Fireworks, Clean Slate, and Magicide can also be used via the Lady Luck's Attack Reels command.

Magicide 30 4 Can deal a critical hit. None
Inflict damage on one enemy's MP.
Dismissal 30 10 Deals damage and cancels a charging action. None
Halt the pending action of one enemy.
Fingersnap 40 10 Deals damage and removes all STAT Up and STAT Down statuses. Magicide
Revert one enemy's attributes to normal levels.
Sparkler 40 12 Deals defense-ignoring physical damage. None
Damage one enemy.
Fireworks 60 18 Deals defense-ignoring physical damage. Sparkler
Damage all enemies.
Momentum 60 10 Deals 1 physical damage for every enemy defeated by anyone in the user's party member slot and can deal a critical hit. Sparkler
Deal increasing damage as you defeat more enemies.
Shin-Zantetsu 100 32 Instantly kills all enemies. Momentum
Instantly defeat all enemies. Sometimes fails.
Nonpareil 20 10 Gives STR+2 and ACCU+10. None
Raise the user's Strength and Accuracy.
No Fear 30 12 Bestows Shell and Protect on the user. Nonpareil
Cast Shell and Protect on the user.
Clean Slate 40 16 Restores 25% of user's HP (halved by Shell) and cures Curse, Darkness, Pointless, Poison, Silence, and Slow. No Fear
Restore HP and cure user of status ailments.
Hayate 60 20 Gives EVA+10 and bestows Haste on the user. Clean Slate
Raise evasion and cast Haste on the user.

Etymology[]

Bushidō, literally "the way of the warrior", is a Japanese word for the way of the samurai life, loosely analogous to the concept of chivalry. It originates from the samurai moral code stressing frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery, and honor unto death.
