To challenge me is to respect chaos.....and to respect death....

Xenomic

Xenomic is an unlockable character in Dissidia Final Fantasy, fighting alongside Chaos, though it is unknown whether or not he is truly fighting on the right side. A vibrant soldier that fights with no single ally, but will always fight when the need arises, he fights with a secret motive that only he knows, and strikes down all that stands in the way of attaining his goal. He fights using a katana as well as the Bushido and Iaijutsu styles.

Battle

Xenomic is described as a Master of None, waiting for opportune moments to punish his opposition with quick and powerful attacks. While he can fight defensively, he can also fight offensively and aggressively. However, regardless of how he fights, he does not excel in any one area, being a jack-of-all-trades instead (although he is poor with magic, regardless of the level of magic he is capable of using). His ground speed is unprecedented, but lacks air speed, making him more idea for ground-to-ground combat. Out of the cast, he has the most balanced set of Brave and HP attacks, each complimenting each other as well as being equal in terms of usability and how many of each type there are.

Attacks

Brave Attacks

Move Type Description
Zanku Blade Ground A quick draw of the sword, eminating a wave of lightning a short distance in front of Xenomic.
Additional Effect: Wall Slam
Meteor Ground Summons a barrage of 8 meteorites around himself that explodes on contact with the ground. The explosion itself does no damage.
Saturn Frenzy Ground Goes into a defensive stance. If struck, will counterattack the opponent with one powerful sword blow that knocks the opponent into the air.
Flying Blade Dance Aerial Strikes the opponent with a flurry of quick strikes. Hits up to 5 times, but does little damage per hit.
Additional Effect: Chase
Firaga Aerial Summons a large sphere around opponent, which will engulf and explode if opponent stays within the sphere for too long. Does low damage.
Blizzaga Aerial Summons an ice aura around opponent, which will then surround and compact onto the opponent, freezing them and leaving them vulnerable for a brief time. Does low damage.
Thundaga Aerial Summons an electric sphere around the opponent, which will then ignite into an electrical storm if opponent stays in sphere for too long. Does low damage.

HP Attacks

Move Type Description
Dragon Twister Ground Starts on the ground by swinging blade around in a circular motion while sucking in the opponent. If opponent is caught within the vortex, Xenomic will unleash a barrage of circular slashes while rising upwards into the air.
Additional Effect: Chase, Wall Slam
Force Edge Explosion Ground Charges up blade, up to 3 times. At level 1, upon contact with the opponent, will merely set them ablaze for a minor period of time. At level 2, will knock the opponent away, initiating a Chase sequence. At full power, will cause an explosion upon contact with the ground, inflicting heavy damage to the opponent and initializing Chase. Slow startup and recovery, but very damaging when used correctly.
Additional Effect: Chase
Tyrant Punish Ground Goes into a defensive stance. When struck with a physical attack, will counterattack with a series of 4 powerful blows from his sword. Knocks the opponent into the air.
Mercury Storm Aerial Goes into a defensive stance. When struck with a magical attack, will counterattack with a series of Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga, each at less power than normal. Still takes damage from the attack.

Brave to Brave Attacks

Move Type Description
Bloodlust Fury Ground Combos opponent with 8 medium powered strikes, then sends opponent into the air to deliver one powerful blow that slams the opponent into the ground.
Strangle Spark Ground Quick runpast by the opponent, leaving behind an electrical trail that ignites after a couple seconds. Knocks the opponent into the air if it connects.
Ultima Aerial Surrounds opponent with a purple aura before igniting the aura into a medium-scale explosion. Despite it being Ultima, is only medium-powered.
Blizzaga Chain Aerial Chains after Firaga. Same as the normal Blizzaga.
Thundaga Chain Aerial Chains after Blizzaga. Same as the normal Thundaga.

Brave to HP Attacks

Move Type Description
Dragon Meteor Explosion Ground Starts with Dragon Twister, but instead of knocking the opponent away, will knock the opponent towards the ground to combo into Force Edge Explosion. Somewhat slow startup into Force Edge Explosion if done too far away from the ground.
Tempest Heaven A Ground Charges up sword, which Xenomic then stabs into the ground, causing an medium-sized explosion.
Additional Effect: Chase
Tempest Heaven B Ground Charges up sword, which Xenomic then twirls around and slashes the ground, sending a shockwave forward. Knocks the opponent into the air.
Additional Effect: Chase
Nova Aerial Chains after Ultima. Engulfs opponent in a fiery mass before causing a large scale explosion. Despite its appearance, only does medium damage.

EX Mode

Know rage absolute!

Xenomic

Xenomic's EX Mode Fragment of Omega has him taking his more demonic appearance, resembling a dragon in some areas while retaining his human form. During his EX Mode, his speed is lessened, but his damage is greatly improved and his aerial maneuverability is much more effective. He also gains a few extra moves which replaces certain moves in his arsenal, depending on which moves he has on at the time. His EX Burst Moriken Bushiden consists of him entrapping his opponent in a sphere of light before blasting them with a beam of extreme light, which then engulfs the opponent while converging into a holy sphere before finally exploding. This attack not only does a decent amount of HP damage, but also damages Bravery as well to an extent.

Move Type Description
Tyrant Crisis Ground Replaces Tyrant Punish. Xenomic goes into a defensive stance, and when hit by an attack, will strike the enemy up to 8 times with quick draw attacks. If used when in Critical HP, will instead deliver one massive slash counterattack, dealing heavy damage to Bravery.
Additional Effect: Chase
Genocide Havoc Aerial Replaces Nova. Surrounds the enemy with two large crystal-like orbs before slamming them into the opponent and exploding them for massive Bravery damage.
Additional Effect: Wall Slam
Lightning Mass Aerial Replaces Thundaga. Surrounds self with an electric aura before charging up sword with aura and charging at opponent for multiple hits. Deals damage to Bravery.
Dante's Inferno Ground Replaces Firaga. Surrounds self with 3 fiery tornados before sending them into the ground to cause a fiery explosion that moves out in a counter-clockwise manner. Deals HP damage.
Forever Zero Ground Replaces Tempest Heaven A and Tempest Heaven B. Goes into a defensive stance, and a few moments later vanishes. An aura will appear around the opponent, and then Xenomic appears striking the aura with his Cloudcover. If the strike hits the opponent, the opponent is engulfed in a dark ball which inflicts heavy Bravery and HP damage. Is extremely vulnerable if whiffed.
