Description

Timeless rod is a weapon for Aerith Gainsborough in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. It is an elegant staff carved from an ancient, petrified tree branch. The weapon includes the Chrono Aegis ability, which creates a protective magical barrier in front of Aerith. When enemies strike this barrier, it bursts to inflict damage and briefly inflict them with the Stop status effect, leaving them completely vulnerable. Striking an enemy vulnerable to, or currently affected by, a status ailment using this skill yields a proficiency bonus.

Obtained

The timeless rod is found at Bill's Ranch in the grasslands region, first visited during chapter 2, "A New Journey Begins". The treasure chest is sitting on the ground inside the red chocobo barn, positioned right next to the tack shop and the chocobo rental counter.
