The Second Coming was a quick-play single-track Challenge Event in Final Fantasy Record Keeper.
Scenario
While searching for the fallen war-hero Sephiroth and the answers that lie hidden within him, Cloud and his team must fight the many splinters of Jenova as well as the Remnants of Sephiroth to prevent another catastrophe on the planet.
Layout
Etymology
In Christian theology, the Second Coming refers to the belief that Jesus Christ will return to the world of the living to re-establish the kingdom of God as depicted through his teachings. The term has since come to refer to an event in which a person may miraculously return from the dead.
Trivia
- The Cid's Missions which appear in this event were exclusive to the global release.
- However there were bugs allowing players to complete Cid's Missions' objectives without full Final Fantasy VII parties, which the team decided not to fix so as to be fair with all players; if a fix was issued, then the Missions would not give their rewards to those players who came into the event later. All players were presented with a Mythril.
- This was the first event to run a full 13-day cycle, though not the first to extend beyond the 10 days typical of an event.
