OverClocked ReMix is an organization dedicated to the appreciation, preservation, and interpretation of video game music that was founded in 1999. Its primary focus is ocremix.org, a website featuring thousands of free fan arrangements, information on game music and composers, resources for aspiring artists, and a thriving community of video game music fans.

Currently, OCRemix has over 2,700 rearrangements of various video game tracks, remixed by over 1,100 artists. This total collaborative effort gives a wide selection of different genres to enjoy. In all, over 200 Final Fantasy tracks have been mixed, from both main series games and spinoffs. Many among these tracks were released in complete, multi-disc albums, as part of large projects OCRemixers collaborate upon en masse. Thus far, OCRemix has released four such albums (for Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IV, the first of a five-part Final Fantasy V album, and Final Fantasy VI).

Final Fantasy: Random Encounter

A a two-disc album of rearranged Final Fantasy music. It was released on June 18, 2012.

Final Fantasy II: Rebellion

A two-disc album of rearranged Final Fantasy II music. It was released on June 8, 2015.

Final Fantasy IV: Echoes of Betrayal, Light of Redemption

A three-disc album of rearranged Final Fantasy IV music, the project's second Final Fantasy-related rearrangement album. It was released on July 19, 2009.

Final Fantasy V: The Fabled Warriors

A series of five albums of rearranged Final Fantasy V music. The first album named Final Fantasy V: The Fabled Warriors ~I. WIND~ was released on September 10, 2010, while the second one named Final Fantasy V: The Fabled Warriors ~II. WATER~ was released on April 25, 2016.

Final Fantasy VI: Balance and Ruin

A five-disc album of rearranged Final Fantasy VI music, and was the project's first one to be crowdfunded via Kickstarter. It was released on July 2, 2013.

Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream

A four-disc album of rearranged Final Fantasy VII music, the project's first Final Fantasy-related rearrangement album. It was released on September 14, 2007. Every disc is named after one of the four installments from Compilation of Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy IX: Worlds Apart

A four-disc album of rearranged Final Fantasy IX music. It was released on September 9, 2015.
