Battle
Heg always inflicts Poison with its Poison Fang attack, and may inflicts paralyze with its Halt Whip attack, but otherwise only has physical attacks and is no threat. It often appears in groups of five.
Strategy
Summoning Shiva or casting Ice or Aqualung will easily dispatch them. Because they appear in large groups and can be defeated so easily, they are ideal for level grinding and upgrading Limit Break levels.

Etymology
Its name is Nidhogg in the Japanese version. The Níðhǫggr (meaning "malice striker" in Old Norse, commonly anglicized as "Nidhogg") is a dragon in Norse mythology who would eat the roots of Yggdrasil, the world tree.
