The Guard Machina is an enemy in Final Fantasy X-2 that can be found in Bikanel from Chapter 3 onwards, as well as Cloisters 27-29 of the Via Infinito. It uses Mech Hunter's model from Final Fantasy X.

Battle
On its turn, the Guard Machina has an 80% chance of using a normal attack and a 20% chance of using Mute, which does the same damage as a regular attack albeit with the ability to inflict Silence on its target.
The Guard Machina has no defenses, so anything except Lightning-based attacks can easily send it to the scrapheap.
Guard Machinas are encountered either alone, in a pair, or in a group with other enemies.
