Forgotten Specimen is a boss in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth fought during Chapter 11, "The Long Shadow of Shinra" in Shinra Manor. As with the Midgardsormr, while its counterpart in Final Fantasy VII was an optional boss, the Forgotten Specimen is a mandatory encounter in Rebirth.
