Apollo or Apollon (Ἀπόλλων, Apóllōn) is one of the most important and complex of the Olympian deities in ancient Greek mythology. Apollo has been variously recognized as a god of light and the sun, truth and prophecy, healing, plague, music, poetry, and more.
