Archeotoad is an enemy in Final Fantasy V.
While weak, its Pond's Chorus, which inflicts toad to the party, is troublesome (it can be learned as a Blue Magic spell). The best way to defeat them is to exploit their ice weakness. Hi-Potions can be stolen from them. Level 5 Death works on them.

Etymology
The word root archaeo-, as in "archaeology", comes from Greek archaios meaning "ancient".
Its name therefore simply means "ancient toad", fitting for a creature found in the ruins.
